Hand Dyed Irish Linen Scarf Soft Greys and Natural Taupe
This one-of-a-kind Irish linen scarf is a true celebration of heritage and craft.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in my home in County Down and hand-finished in my studio at Portview—once one of the world’s largest flax spinning mills—each piece carries its own quiet story.Made from a beautifully light Irish linen, the scarf measures approximately 30 cm wide by 2 metres long, offering both softness and graceful drape.
Subtle soft grey tones emerge from a blend of oak gall and eucalyptus while subtle iron-bath modifications create organic patterns that make every scarf entirely unique.A timeless piece, crafted with care and character.
I
’ve tended each piece of Irish linen with great care to help its natural colours endure. Your piece carries living colours drawn from plants, roots, and earth. They may soften or shift gently with time. To let your linen age with grace, keep it away from direct sunlight and, if washing is needed, bathe it by hand in cool water with a mild natural soap.
Colours on your device may vary from the true colours.
